What is Beauty Sleep?

Indian beauty secrets are no more a secret to the world. 


From global icon Priyanka Chopra to a common household woman, they all seem to follow their grandmother's recipes to make their skin look amazing in the most natural way. We got a chance to talk to a few Indian women and one of them shared a secret that really struck us. 

“If you want healthy skin, get a good night’s sleep. And, before sleeping, treat your skin. That’s what you need to do!”, says 35-year old Shalini. 


We did further research and this is what we found.


A major discovery!

Back in 2010, a study was led by John Axelsson from the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden on 23 participants. The study revealed that the participants in the picture after the sleep deprivation looked unhealthier than the pictures taken before.
